UPDATES

OCT 2007
- Movie guide revised and updated and better than ever, if you ask me.
- Nothing else new at the moment. I'm sorry there still hasn't been much added to the book section or to the archives, but I will get to those things, I promise. Life again got in the way a little bit.
- There will be new cartoons soon, and I also have some old stuff I can scan in finally. I doubt I will ever run out of stuff like that. You still haven't seen "Moving" or "The Kid Who Works at Hardee's" or "Good Stuff"; how have I held out? And a truly EPIC new "Nathan's True Life Adventures" is in planning stages.

SEPT 2007

- Do you h8 this site design? I hope not because it has now been up for two years, longer than the old version was up! Rejoice.

AUG 2007
- A relatively small update this time, but some new Plaastik news has been tossed up.

JUL 2007
- I'm starting to wonder why I thought this page was necessary. Basically, though, I'd like to draw your attention to a new embarrassing anecdote about my childhood in WRITING, a long awaited attack on digipacks in MUSIC, and the usual mix of other crap, plus the newest (and biggest thus far) revision of my movie guide.
- Biggest new feature probably is the beginning of my Mass Book Reviewing book guide in BOOKS. If you've ever wondered what I have on my reference shelf, now you can find out. More to come once per month when I do the regular update.

MAR/APR 2007:
- Life intervened with a few shakeups this time, but we're back up to date now, I believe.

FEB 2007:
- Not a lot going on this time out. I wanted to have a LOTSI and a Wuzzon ready by now; hopefully both will be up by the time the month ends. Anyway, small revisions all around.

JAN 2007:
- Big issue this month: The pages for The Simpsons in the MOVIES & TV section have been cleaned up with new reviews of the entire second season (the main reason this update is over a week late).
- My project for the last few months was posted recently and is now up in the MUSIC section: a review of Brian Wilson's SMILE.
- The movie guide has been given another (small) update, with the next one (hopefully a lot bigger) coming up in April.

DEC 2006:
- Among the latest chestnuts this busy month: a minor redesign of the front page, new risque pics in the ABOUT section, and a lot of small things from the LJ.
- Experience the magic in WRITING of my eulogies for directors whose films I've never seen as well as plenty of complaints about those pesky library users!
- Oh my goodness in PROJECTS you can find me bitching about toothaches, women (I think), men, Namibia, and HAPPY FEET.
- Wowzers! In the skeletal (at the moment) BOOKS section, a scathing attack on an innocent study of KARTOON KENSORSHIP!
- But the big news is that I've reviewed the last three IRS albums by R.E.M. finally, both readable here.
- And the Plaastik page is up to date, for all you Plaastik fans.
- Historically I have posted less in December than any other month of the year, so I may not have much to contribute next time, but there will be an update of the movie guide around January 1st!

NOV 2006:
- This month I ended up needlessly defending Alfred Hitchcock twice! Both rants can be found in WRITING. Also new to that particular area are a few idle whines on the subject of growing up or some shit like that.
- Gadzooks! A new cartoon called "The Man in Beige".
- Zounds! There is a gorilla on a computer somewhere in PROJECTS.
- In MUSIC, you will find a few new reviews scattered around, including an atypically personal one of Yo La Tengo's new joint. I'm itching to get some more artist pages up, but I want to try and get the ones that exist up to date first. I should have the whole R.E.M. backlog up pretty quickly, followed by YLT and the Clash and the remaining Kinks, then I can start working on my Chuck Berry page, which I've been really wanting to do for like three years now.
- And where, you ask, are the BOOKS and E-MEDIA sections? I will have them available fairly soon.

OCT 2006:
- Hey check it there's a new review of Reckoning by R.E.M.
- The rest of the site's pretty up to date now, including new stuff in WRITING, PROJECTS, and MUSIC from the journal. - We also have integrated the first full update of the MOVIE GUIDE. Have a look.
