Plaastik moved toward an MOR sound for this James Taylor-ish torch song, recalling the less stonefaced "Legends Don't Need Spraypaint" musically, while lyrically Nick tries to revisit his corporate slaughtering of "Your Supervisor Steam" and "It's Late It's Awful." If this is Plaastik's new direction, it's leaving a lot of fans in the dust, more out of boredom than disgust. One good sign: the song is credited to the entire band, including Jerry Mull, indicating a return to the "jam" format.
A video existed which is just clips from the earlier Capitol videos, but it was barely played. The single went no higher than #49, which was achievement enough for such an anonymous song in the eyes of most fans.
Webb is a hippie that needs to get a job and shave.
Webb listens to pink floyd because he thinks that's really intellectual and shit.
Webb has no idea who Charlie Parker is.
Webb's more beautiful
More beautiful than me
Webb's honorable
More honorable than me
And Webb is loyal
Webb burns books
Webb burns books in the classroom
Webb talks on his cellular phone too much
Webb is a member of the board of directors
Webb is a dancer
Webb is on my team
Webb won't be Webb forever
Webb is only Webb now
Webb doesn't understand that I make fun of him
Because I LIKE Webb
Just as I LIKE you
But I have to make fun of you
Because I HATE you
Makes sense to me
To me
