This undisputed classic -- the first single from HERD POLITICS -- is a somber, reflective melancholy ballad of failed relationships, slow and meandering and very pop-friendly, with a furious Janet Kieran solo. The band that was, many argue, too often lost in self-aware ignorance of convention by this point pulls itself together for a masterpiece on this one.

Several alternate versions of this cut were presented as b-sides. Version B is an excellent electrified version, version C is a dance remix, and version D is an OLIVES-style ambient take.

A renowned video for the track does not feature the band itself, but surveys the aftermath of domestic violence in an empty house. The single was a major hit and got to #3.
