Anyway, enough people loved the snotty British punk imitation of "Daddy's Little Girl" to make the band's first major-label single a #1 smash, defying all expectation and eventually trapping the band. It is a more elaborate rewrite of the early song "Fuck You, Cocksucker," the main addition being the hook of the repeated phrase at the end of each line, plus the oblique new lyrics. The new lyrics were written by Kevin Keys after a band argument in which Nick Parker, though he understood objections to the "Cocksucker" lyrics, challenged the others to write something better. Someone did.

Despite the band's growing lack of fondness for the number, it was a regular feature of setlists until the most recent tour in 2001.They did infuse it with subversive noise on later Playtime dates in an attempt to alienate the audience, but otherwise arrangements were straightforward until the '90s; even on the Information Tour it wasn't too different, and the band has admitted they only played it because they felt they had to. With even greater success behind them on the '94 tour, the band felt free to treat it as a novelty of sorts and played it both as a silly cabaret piece and in a wild, psychedelic guitar-heavy revision that restores some of the "Fuck You" lyrics. This version was recorded at seven minutes in length for the compilation MEAT as "ultra supersonic new version."

The video for this song is a straightforward early-'80s band performance piece with strange slowmo shots of cats sprinkled throughout.
