LABORATORY

This lighthearted singalong reggae number was an instant fan favorite following its first performance on the inaugural Science Tour show; many breathed a sigh of relief at its good humor and relaxed sound. Many SCIENCE defenders cited it as proof that the band had not lost their sense of humor. As if to prove a point, the song was pulled from the setlist after the first leg of the tour. Jeff Jooce says that it was partially written in soundchecks on the Diplomacy Tour and that no studio version exists, but in 2004 he claimed that we "haven't heard the last of it."
Dub is my religion
I stay awake at night
Making sounds in my lab
The neighbors hear me
They start to call the cops
Then they realize
It's just me and my dubs
Dr. Dub
Dr. Dub
Take me away
Dr. Dub
Let me sleep
In your laboratory tonight
Dub dub dub dub dub
Dub dub dub dub dub
Dub dub dub dub dub
Dub dub dub dub dub
Dub dub dub dub dub
Dr. Dub
Dr. Dub
Take me away
Dr. Dub
Let me sleep
In your laboratory tonight
Let me sleep
In your laboratory tonight
