REVOLVER IN HER HAND

A massive change of pace for the album, "Revolver in Her Hand" was the first single and an enormous #4 hit that unfortunately didn't result in bigger sales for the album. It features a distinctly Beatlesque lead vocal from Nick and offers the jazz players as accomplices to an unapologetic pop song. The result is pure bliss. The video dramatized the song's plot.

she embraced me
and accosted me
with a revolver in her hand
she showed up
with that blue dress
and a revolver in her hand

we danced all night
we danced all right

she embraced me
and accosted me
with a revolver in her hand
she showed up
with that blue dress
and a revolver in her hand

she said I'm
the only one
who understands

she left me
she abandoned me
with a revolver in her hand
she told me it
was for the best
with a revolver in her hand

we danced all night
we danced all right

and she drove off
with the sirens
blaring.
