The first Plaastik single that sounds absolutely nothing like Plaastik. At live shows, they favored a thrash version of this composition, which was in fact the way it was originally played by R.E.M. Recording it for a tribute album, says Jeff Jooce, "we decided to make it the most redneck-cowboy thing we could ever possibly put out. We did it mainly because we thought it would be fun to have a video where we were in these fake beards and riding around in the back of a pickup truck and shit. It's really amusing to see Jay in a cowboy hat running around with a bunch of turkeys. We hoped the video would be played on CMT, and it was." Released well before CARTOONS, the track was a big hit, reaching #9. Part of this may have been due to the major selling power of the single, which featured several songs from the forthcoming album.
