SOMETIMES

Many hardcore fans had a massive wish come true when this early live favorite finally surfaced on TODAY'S CAJUN SPICE, twelve years after it was written. It was the first song Nick and Janet composed together, and one can sense its impact on later compositions from "Ocean Sky" to "It's Late It's Awful." This version features Christina on organ while the others bring the world to an end on guitars. Live versions run the gamut from turtle speed to unberably loud and fast.

I have a lot of friends
But I can never find them
Maybe they've gone
To the supermarket

Or my closet
Always there is something in there
Mostly shoeboxes... empty
And deadly spiders... dead memories
... from long ago

When you're trolling for olives
It's like a disease
Because you're nothing
Nothing but today's cajun spice
And tomorrow
I'll find
A whole
New you
