Many consider this one of the worst Plaastik songs released to date. It is shockingly obvious, its melodramatic production and chord changes losing credibility completely when Phil Spector brings in his appalling, schmaltzy string section. It's telling that Plaastik loved playing this on the Science Tour, where it never met an enthusiastic response.
How can I face the world today?
Why am I telling you this?
I turn to you so much
You're the one to confide in
You're the one who caused this
I can't let it go
I can live my life
But it'll always be
In the back of my mind
WHY DID YOU DO THIS TO ME?
I know the computer game is fun
I know that she is fun
I know that she is something to you
She's nothing to me
I want her to know it
I want her to hate me
I want to live off it
WHY DID YOU DO THIS TO ME?
I hate you and I hate her
I hate me and I hate this
But who else can I talk to
Where else can I go, lucky for you
Something says I should stay
I can't let it go
I can live my life
But it'll always be
In the back of my mind
