The age of this track is unknown. It may be a performance from 2000, since it was said to be the same jam as "It's Stupid," dated 2000; however, many accouts had named "You and Me" as the last addition to the record, laid down in late 2003. More likely the song was recorded twice and had to be cleaned up for a version suitable for release (even by LOVE standards) to be devised. Kieran referred to the song as "sexy and reassuring," but the only adjective most fans had was "lengthy" if not "boring." It is over twenty minutes, seven of those minutes being a single note held down on a keyboard. This extremely overbearing jam is more "produced" than other tracks on LOVE, with a wall of acoustic guitars and piano hitting crescendo. There is no excitement to the recording, a waste of time mostly.
